Fallopian Rings (Silicone elastomer band)
CONTRACEPTIVE TUBAL OCCLUSION DEVICE FOR PERMANENT FEMALE STERILISATION
The falope ring consists of a cylindrical silicone band made from medical grade silicone elastomer. The band is 4 millimetres in diameter, 2,5 millimetres wide with a 1,2 millimetre bore. Each ring contains Barium Sulphate. The falope ring is white in colour. The silicone used in the manufacture of the ring is inert and non reactive to body tissues and fluids.
